Posing as an Archer

Standing version

Take a comfortable wide stance. Form a soft bow shape with the hands, draw one elbow back and extend the opposite hand; return and change sides.

Seated version

Sit toward the front of the chair with feet wide and flat. Keep the torso upright while the arms draw the bow to each side.

Helpful cue

Move slowly, keep the joints soft, and let your breathing stay natural.

Do not do this

Do not force the range, lock a joint, move quickly, or hold your breath.

Stop with pain, pressure, unusual shortness of breath, or dizziness.
